Do SEN children have a voice about their needs?
• Children who have Support Plans discuss their progress and targets when these are reviewed with the teacher (age appropriate),
• All staff share the learning barriers with the children.
• Children are routinely asked to reflect on their learning and share how they feel they are progressing during the course of the day, week, term and year.
• School reports reflect the children’s feelings about school and learning
• All children are provided with the opportunity to be voted onto the school council, as well as hold other positions of responsibility, by their class or teachers.
• Children are invited to comment on the review sheets for termly meetings.
